Originally from France, Thomas grew up with a background of skiing and rugby. 10 years ago when Thomas moved to NYC he decided to raise money for friends doing a 3 year world bike tour by doing a triathlon and he got hooked from there. Fast forward 4 years ago, after 6 years of competing in triathlon Thomas decided to join the Achilles international tri team. Little did he know that he had a fellow compatriot who was looking to push the boundaries of triathlon for visually impaired athletes. Working together with his team mate and earl, Thomas started an Achilles scholarship at Tailwind Endurance and helped 4 athletes qualify for the national team and be able to race at the itu level. With this background, being a cyber security professional, a dad, a guide, and coach, Thomas fully understands endurance sports is a matter of goals, passion and this is achieved through an act of balance while having fun.
